Happy Birthday Me!

That's right! Happy Birthday to Me!! Another year gone by, another year ahead...another year to attempt not to fall, injure myself, or give up this whole crazy running thing lol.

I'm very excited about the year ahead. I've already done one 5k, I am running another in 2 weeks. I have my half-marathon scheduled for October and I'm sure I'll fill in the calendar with a few more runs before the year is over. This is going to be my first full year as a runner. Very exciting. It will be interesting to look back 1 year from now and see my progress. I'm also excited about meeting new friends in running and the bloggy world (hi out there!).

I want to take a second on that note and say a big 'thank you' to everyone that reads here. Your comments mean so much to me and I love receiving them! I spend countless hours every week catching up on all of your lives through your blogs and am humbled that you take the time to pop over here. I intend to keep writing here up to, and long after, my half-marathon goal. I hope you'll stick around for the crazy journey.
